Kooky Kibble began as a small pop-up shop in our warehouse at 5 Ashley Place, Papamoa Beach. (Back then, it wasn't even called Kooky Kibble yet!) But as more pet parents rallied around our idea for an affordable pet food sustainably made from pet food seconds, that's when Kooky Kibble was born!

So, what is Kooky Kibble? It's sustainably-made natural pet food at pocket-friendly prices. Each bag of Kooky Kibble is made from a blend of different pet food formulas, made by our private label partner here in New Zealand using New Zealand and Australian proteins, produce, and superfoods.

Why use seconds? Normally, pet food seconds are discarded for a variety of reasons, such as short-dated stock or mismatched kibble sizes. But, we think even kooky-looking kibble deserves to be tasted, not tossed out. So while our cat and dog food looks funny on the outside, we only use pet food formulas that comply with the AAFCO standards for daily cat and dog nutrition. This means Kooky Kibble is perfectly safe, healthy, and delicious for our pets to eat!
